I browsed the web and saw this complaint all over the place, and the company seemed to provide no support, so I figured I might as well get a "real" mic. THAT said, the only mic I had was a Blue Snowball, and it had really "quiet" input.
That said, I'm keeping costs down and working with what I have. I just started with Reaper (and DAWs) a week and a half ago, and at this point I'm not concerned with making pro music, just with building my skills with the software over the next few weeks, so that I can make pro music in the future.
